What We're Doing
In a city where community is harder to find and fresh food isn't always accessible, the land offers something different.
We grow food, expand access to fresh produce, restore habitat, and tend five acres of urban land together — and in doing so, discover that caring for the earth and caring for each other are the same work.
OUR MISSION
The gardens gather us. Plants and relationships grow together.
Different entry points for different levels of participation — each one addressing real needs by bringing people together in a shared place.

Who This Is For

Neighbors facing food insecurity — who need access to fresh, affordable, culturally meaningful food.

Volunteers & curious learners — who want to get their hands dirty, connect with the land, and meet people they wouldn't otherwise know. No experience necessary.

Faith and community groups — who want to serve, learn, and develop a holistic vision of land stewardship and care.

The land itself — soil, pollinators, wildlife, and the broader urban ecosystem that we're actively restoring.
I really enjoyed learning about the sustainable practices Kinship Plot embodies and how they connect those values to mutual aid and a positive impact on the community they’re part of.
I’m so grateful for the experience and the people I met along the way —they have my full support!
