What We Believe
Most of us were taught that learning happens in classrooms, at certain ages, from certain people. Kinship Plot believes something different: that learning is a lifestyle, not a lifestage — and that wisdom shows up in many forms, including the natural world, lived experience, and the people sitting across the table from you.
Our learning programs create space to slow down, ask better questions, and grow together — in ways that actually change how we live.
The goal isn't information. It's formation.
Small Group Cohorts
Intimate, facilitated groups that explore themes of kinship, belonging, and community over multiple sessions. Built for depth, not breadth.
WAYS TO ENGAGE
How We Learn Together
Different entry points for different levels of participation — each one addressing real needs by bringing people together in a shared place.
Workshops & Seasonal Events
Hands-on, theme-based gatherings tied to the rhythms of the land and the questions of the moment.
Guided Forest Walks & Eco-Somatic Sessions
Learning that happens outside — with the land as teacher. Available by request for groups and individuals.
Contemplative Practices
Rooted in the conviction that meaningful action flows from stillness, we weave prayer, reflection, and spiritual practice into our learning rhythms.
Speaking & Retreats
By-request offerings for churches, organizations, and groups seeking a deeper engagement with themes of community, belonging, and earthkeeping.
Who This Is For
Curious individuals — who want to keep learning long after formal education ends, and who sense that the best conversations happen in small rooms with honest people.
Faith communities and churches — seeking a holistic vision of formation that integrates care for the earth, neighbor, and self.
Groups and organizations — looking for a meaningful retreat, workshop, or learning experience rooted in place and practice.
