Where Belonging Takes Root

The Kinship Plot

Loneliness, displacement, and disconnection are what happen when cities are built for growth instead of rootedness. They show up as housing instability, food insecurity, and neighbors who've never met. These aren't separate problems. They share a root.

Kinship Plot inhabits five acres in East Charlotte where we are co-creating —

The land grounds us.

OUR PROGRAMS

Four ways to take root.

Whether you're drawn to the land, the arts, the learning, or the housing  — there's a place for you here.

Testimonial

“Kinship Plot brings people together to support the land and one another.

Whenever I volunteer with Kinship Plot I have loved joining people of varying ages and backgrounds to share connection and time to work on the land.

I always leave feeling enriched, always learning something or meeting someone new. ”
