About the event

Doors open at 6:45 PM. There will be a variety of nourishing teas to choose from, provided by The Pauline Tea Bar Apothecary. The spacious venue of Warehouse 242 allows for comfortable social distancing and a wide-open-coffee-shop-like feel. Rev. Dia will perform a spoken word piece exploring how kinship generates new possibilities within our world rife with structural oppression, relational separation, spiritual loneliness, and environmental destruction. Melanee Marshall of Closet Creatives will lead us in a guided reflective response to what we have heard before an opportunity to talk back with Rev. Dia. We hope this will be a liberatory space for interaction, dialogue, artistic response, and enjoying solidarity with one another.
